STUDENTS OFFER
HELPING HANDS
With the arrival of spring, there
never seems to be enough hours in the
day. Throughout the planting and grow-
ing season, farmers often work from
dawn till past dark, and the Canada
Employment Centre for Students
(CECS) wants to ease the work load.
When employers call in requesting
help, CECS staff go through their files to
locate suitable students, who are re-
ferred to the employer. The employer
makes the hiring decision.
The CECS can also supply informa-
tion on government programs designed
to encourage the hiring of students.
For more information, contact the
CECS nearest you: Goderich, 524-
2744, Exeter, 235-1711, Listowel, 291-
2922, and Stratford, 271-9700.0
