SELF -PRIMING
PUMP AVAILABLE
Vogelsang Manufacturing recently
introduced its wide range of self -prim-
ing rotary piston pumps to Canada.
The specific requirements of the
agricultural sector led to the application
of advanced technology to the develop-
ment of a robust rotary piston pump with
decisive design advantages.
The pumps have capacities from
8,000 G/h to 78,000 G/h and are self -
priming up to a 24 -foot depth. They will
pump liquids from water to solid paste
materials laden with foreign bodies.
Other features include: simple re-
versal of pumping direction, practical
application in pipeline systems (suction
up to 600 feet, pressure up to 2 kilom-
etres), no volume loss due to line loss, no
winding thanks to opposite running ro-
tary pistons, insensitivity to dry -run-
ning, and 40 per cent less horsepower
required.
