EVEN -FLOW
Even flow chimneys with high capacity variable
speed fans exhaust air vertically and are
constructed of corrosion -proof polyethylene.
They are shrouded to prevent preapitation from
entering the barn. Head wind problems as with
conventional wall fans are eliminated.
A fresh air plenum constructed of S.M. sheets
and perforated stainless steel inlets installed
below ceiling at a ratio of one metre of strip
per hog.
The vertical chimney stack and ventilation strip
system provides even air distribution without
creating draft.
Fresh air enters through a skirted under-eave
inlet into the "attic" area. In the winer months,
solar heated air can be brought in from an
alternate attic route providing warmer air. ht
