WILHELM BROS.
HAVE CHAMPION
Wilhelm Bros. of R. R. 4, Walkerton
showed the Grand Champion female at
the popular Tri -County Holstein show
held in conjunction with the Walkerton
Little Royal October 16.
The Reserve Champion was shown
by Aitkenbrae Farms, R. R. 2, Holstein.
In the 4-H classes, the champion calf
was shown by Cheryl McConnell of R.
R. 1, Orangeville, and the reserve by
Scott Catto of R. R. 3, Owen Sound.
Paul McConnell of R. R. 1, Orangeville
was the champion 4-H showman and
Heather Braiden of Shelburne was the
reserve winner.
Exhibitors came from Bruce, Grey,
Huron, and Dufferin counties.0

PRI7FS IN EACH CATEGORY:
FIRST PRIZE: $20, SECOND
PRI7F: $10, THIRD PRIZE: $8
Competition Rules:
1. Entries must be original and the sole
work of the contestant.
2. Artwork must be 8 1/2" by 11" or 11"
by 14". No pencil or blue pen.
3. Each submission requires the con-
testant's name, address, telephone, and
school (if submitted through a school).
4. Entries will be judged on age cat-
egory, originality, and neatness.
5. Deadline is December 31, 1987.
SUGGESTED TOPICS: what the
farm means to me, farm hazards, safety,
farm animals, farming in the future,
chores, farm machinery, preserving the
environment, planting, harvesting.
