20 — REAP (Resource Efficient Agri-
cultural Production) On -Farm Research
and Demonstration tour aimed at more
cost-efficient methods of crop produc-
tion. Tests include cover crops versus
herbicides for weed control, evaluation
of ryegrass and winter cereals for quack -
grass suppression in corn, rotary hoe
plus cultivation for weed control in soy-
beans, and reducing corn input costs
with crop rotation, cultivation, chemical
banding, and cover cropping. Begins at
1 p.m. at the farm of Harry Wilhelm. For
