A.I. MANAGER WILL
START NEW BUSINESS
At the end of April, Jim Wilkins
left his position as manager of the
Ontario Swine A.I. Association to
start a consultation and special pro-
ducts business.
Previously employed with Western
Ontario Breeders, Wilkins was with
the A.I. Association for 15 years. He
will continue work for the association
as a technical consultant for a mini-
mum of three years while pursuing his
interest in A.I. technology, repro-
duction, and genetics in both domestic
and international markets. He also
plans to expand his Suffolk sheep
flock at the Wilkins farm outside
Woodstock.
Now serving on the joint federal -
provincial steering committee for the
Record of Performance Program in
Ontario, Wilkins has also been chair-
man of the Canadian National Live-
stock Records and on the executive
committee of the National Swine
Improvement Committee.°
