$60 MILLION RAISED
FOR U OF G PROJECTS
A year after beginning its five-year
fundraising campaign, the University
of Guelph is more than halfway toward
its goal of $60 million.
Major projects to be supported by
the campaign include modernization of
the Ontario Veterinary College's
laboratories and clinics, construction
of an environmental biology/horticul-
ture building and a centre for equine
research, expansion of athletics facil-
ities, and additions to the library.0

HAS NEW MANAGERS
Dale Good recently became man-
ager at the Hensall branch of W. G.
Thompson & Sons. He replaces
Lloyd Whitesell, who retired after
14 years with the company.
Bill Goos was recently appointed
manager of the Granton branch of
W. G. Thompson & Sons Limited.
He was assistant manager for
Thompsons for 15 years.
