Previously heated water left standing gives a flat taste when boiled again. * The teapot itself should be warmed. * Use one tea bag for each two cups of tea if desired. * When the water has boiled take the warmed teapot to the kettle and pour over the tea bags. Cover and let steep for three to five minutes.
