years before the roads were plowed in
winter.

a summer recreational group for
children; Cubs; Scouts; Beavers;
Brownies; mums and tots; all using
church premises. The Holstein

At present, our Member of
Parliament, Murray Calder, resides
on a farm located adjacent to the
south-east corner of Holstein and he
keeps us up-to-date politically. I
hope our community and country
continues to make progress.
Our committee has worked
diligently searching out material for
our history book. It is being printed
by Stan Brown Printers in Owen
