It is becoming more apparent that as the quality of our food deteriorates, perhaps partly due to biotechnology, so does the health of the people who unknowingly are consuming food that is not good for them. We must get back to natural products that have not been altered by some scientist who is out to make a buck for himself and the company hiring him. It is also imperative that altered products be labelled — or will consumers who are more sensitive to drugs and additives in food and whose bodies react adversely when they are consumed, simply continue to be told that they have an allergy to milk or pork or any other wholesome product, that if not tampered with would not affect them adversely. It is interesting to note that a local farmer, Mr. M. Schmidt, who is trying to sell natural milk, is being stopped from doing so even though he has his own customers and no one has com- plained of getting ill from his product.
