Living on a farm
can provide plenty
of adventures for
a youngster,
mostly full of plea-
ures. The are
dangers too on a
farm, however,
and with more
equipment and
more parents
working, un-
attended children
can get them-
selves in real trouble. But finding child care can
be difficult in the country because of distance
and long work hours. In some places attempts
are being made to improve the situation.

THE MAGAZINE OF THE AGRICULTURAL INDUSTRY
There are many cows that are stars of the show ring but
few who find themselves on stage in live theatre. Toby and
Bessy are prime attractions in He Won't Come In From
The Barn, playing this summer at the Blyth Festival. Oh
yes, writer, actor Ted Johns is also in the show.
