opens up barns to
fresh air, Tight
The days when barns were
dark and dingy because of
few windows, or noisy
because of ventilation fans, are
over thanks to natural ventilation
systems from Faromor Inc.
The Shakespeare company
pioneered their first naturally
ventilated barn in 1982. It's still in
profitable operation today, along
with hundreds of other systems.
Over the years Faromor's
engineering research has created
an integrated system that virtually
eliminates the early problems of
temperature fluctuations that still
exist in some systems. The
system's vent doors, ridge vents
and/or curtains are precisely
modulated through thermostats
supplied by Faromor. Stainless
steel actuators operate from a low
voltage power supply. Even a
power failure isn't a problem
because a battery back-up
ensures the system continues to
operate automatically.
Both ridge and side vents move
incrementally in response to
temperature change, eliminating
the need to reset ventilation
parameters with changing weather
patterns. Faromor manufactures
vent doors, both in see-through
plexiglass and insulated (urethane
core).
The company's solar panels
provide 95 per cent light
transmission yet provide a
reasonable insulation factor.
These can accommodate large
openings opening barns up to a
bright, but draft -free environment.
The solar panel has a combination
welded aluminum frame and
snap -on white PVC glazing bar to
offer exceptional strength plus
quality appearance.
Faromor's natural ventilation
systems have been used widely in
dairy, swine and poultry
operations. With today's
technology they deliver the same
advantages of natural ventilation
to farmers in northern climates as
have been enjoyed by farmers in
southern climates for years.0
FARO OR
SOLAR PANEL
is a continuous rigid panel glazed
with a double skin transparent
plastic. The panel will permit
95% light transmission yet offers
a reasonable insulation factor.
It can accommodate large
openings and be easily
screened.
Solar Panel's combination welded
aluminum frame and 'snap -on' white PVC
glazing bar offers exceptional strength,
and a quality appearance.
Natural Ventilation
Faromor manufactures a full line of
natural ventilation components - wall
vents, ridge vents & domes, fabric
curtains and insulated vertical panels.

Remember the winter of '94?
Frozen silage? No problem!
For frozen silage and hard -packed haylage, the Patz cutter -and -claw gathering chain
outperforms augers. This time -proven chain with its chain -saw cutting action cuts out
frozen silage aggressively. Shouldn't your next unloader have a gathering chain?
The Model 98C Silo Unloader features:
Depth -of -cut control ensures high-volume delivery.
Automatic self -levelling saves trips up the silo.
Fully automated unloading because the 98C is self-propelled on the silage surface
without cable support. No winch watching!
Spring tension keeps the power cutter's self -sharpening blades tight to the
silo wall to shave it clean.
All parts go up the chute to install anytime.
For 12 to 30 -ft. silo.
Affordable financing directly from Patz.
