We would like to return some corn to your farm in the form of CO-OP ETHANOL GASOLINE
CREATE A DEMAND FOR ONTARIO
UCO Petroleum will sell 100 million litres of
Co-op Ethanol and UCO Gasoline next year.
These sales will use 6 million litres of ethanol
which will take 600,000 bushels of Ontario
corn to produce. Existing farm customers will
take delivery of one quarter of this volume with
the balance being purchased by rural gas bar
customers. If all gasoline used on Ontario
farms contained ethanol we would use an
additional 1,300,000 bushels of corn.
YOUR COMMITMENT
We need you to commit your farm gasoline
and diesel fuel to your Co-operatives ethanol
program. There will be no pressure on other
suppliers if Co-op simply supplies ethanol
while the competition supplies the diesel. In
addition, your commitment of your diesel
business provides the delivery efficiency that
will support the economics of ethanol and
allow us to price competitively with non ethanol
gasolines. You can further enhance these
economics by committing your heating fuel
and propane needs to your co-operative.
FARM SUPPORT
We need your support to make an Ontario
ethanol industry a reality. We need to put out
a signal to farm fuel suppliers that they must
support Ontario agriculture by supplying
ethanol gasoline if they want your business.
