Make people aware
I found your article on Organic
farming (Organic Farming's No Fad
on This Farm, September '92)
interesting and helpful. I am
currently doing a project for my fifth
year geography course in secondary
school on organic vs other farming
methods. I will use the information
in my project.
To Mr. Reibling and others who
want to promote organic farming, the
more you try to make people aware
of it, the more teachers and students
talk about it in projects and class
discussions. This can get students'
attention sometimes more than just
having it in the course curriculum.
I am working for a career in this
area of agriculture.

Vanishing Rights
Plans for stable funding are being
met
With mistrust and disappointment
from all those who object.
For while living in a country which is
professed to be free
We must constantly be on guard to
maintain our liberty.
Who's to ever know, what proof is
there to say
That mandatory funding will save the
farmers' day?
Small farms represent the stability on
which this country was built.
Bureaucrats and lobby groups could
well be what will kill it.
The independence of family farms is
a legacy to the future
That mandatory encumberment is not
committed to nurture.
A long time ago in history President
Lincoln said
Never do things for a man he should
do for himself instead.
