The Rural Voice, 1992-07, Page 13instills. Others refuse to be victims
and are prepared for the day that
protection will wane.
There are the environmental
activists who shout slogans and block
logging roads, but how many of them
plant trees?
There are the animal rightists who
bemoan the use of animals for the
benefit of mankind, but how many
have their pets neutered?
There are the complainers about
our governments, but how many of
them don't vote?
These examples of success refuse
to be victims. The difference between
those who feel they are victims and
those who succeed is the old differ-
ence between whiners and winners. If
one believes in being a victim one will
be one. If one believes in oneself, one
will almost always win.0
