A course designed for the novice shepherd with emphasis on selection of breeding
stock, nutrition, flock health and productivity, lambing time management, hands on
techniques and marketing strategies.

SWINE RESEARCH UPDATE
A one day update summarizing various research and other topics of current interest
to the swine industry. A wide variety of relevant topics covering swine breeding,
health, housing and marketing are featured.

BUSINESS AND PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT
JOB HUNTING SKILLS FOR THE NINETIES
If you are looking for a job for the first time or if you are thinking of a career change,
this course is for you. Topics covered include: resume writing, cover letters, how
to conduct yourself in an interview, dress codes, body language, and more.
4 Mondays - Jan. 6 - 27/92 (7:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.) Fee: $50
STARTING YOUR OWN BUSINESS
A course for those who are interested in starting a small business or those who
have just recently started one. Participants are introduced to the theoretical, legal
and practical concepts required to start a new business. Participants will develop
a business plan sufficient to satisfy both management and creditor needs.

At this two evening workshop, participants prepare a variety of breads, both
sweet and savory. Everyone takes home samples

FARM INCOME TAX DAY
Designed for farm owners and managers, this course is an annual update on
income regulations and tax accounting procedures. Bring your questions and enter
freely into the discussion portion of the meeting.
