As I am sure you are aware, the "Crop Circle" phenomenon — the appearance of mysterious and still - unexplained formations, mostly circular, in crop fields — has been in- creasing in intensity in recent years, both in quantity and complexity of formations. Although the greatest number of reports still come from southern England, many other countries, especially Canada, are now producing large number of reports. In 1990, Canada produced more than 30 reports of this type and, as in England, the patterns are becoming more complex as time goes on. Multiple circles, circles with rings, partial rings, and complex swirl patterns have all been recorded. In our investigations last year, we learned many farmers had disco- vered similar effects in their fields over the years, but never reported them because they weren't aware anyone was interested. We are most definitely interested in receiving these reports. We are doing extensive scientific investigation and analysis of these crop field effects, and would very much like to receive reports from individuals who have discovered or have knowledge of any such crop circles anywhere in Canada. This is most important, as we maintain close contacts with all the major research organizations worldwide in order to exchange ideas and data. In this way, we may eventually be able to discover
