for it, sows may be housed in groups
to allow for huddling. Boars may be
made available nearby to encourage
more social contact.
Keep in mind, however, that unless
the herd is experiencing the fall abor-
tion problem, none of the above might
be necessary. Working with your vet-
erinarian would be the quickest and
best way to sort out if there is cause
for concern.0
