WHAT'S NEW
ing-speed ranges and two reverse. An
optional eight -speed synchronized
shuttle transmission has eight forward
speed ranges and eight reverse speed
ranges.
Forward/reverse shuttle shifts are
synchronized for easier gear change
without having to come to a complete
stop and the shuttle transmission is ideal
for utility and chore applications where
there is a constant need to change from
forward to reverse.
Standard features include hydro-
static steering, category 2 three-point
hitch convertible to category 1, Fer-
guson system hydraulics, two auxiliary
spool valves and auxiliary hydraulic
pump, disc brake/planetary reduction
rear axle for maximum braking effort
with minimal driveline stress, and dif-
ferential lock.

SHEEP TRACKS
Why count sheep when a computer
program can do it for you? Now there is
a new software program for sheep pro-
ducers. With Sheep Tracks, you record
events — like lambings or sales — just
once. The one entry is added to every
related record. Then it takes just a few
keystrokes to compare the performance
of different ewes or rams, or to compare
one year's lambings to another's.
Sheep Tracks is easy to use, even for
people with no computer experience.
The program requires an IBM-compat-
ible computer with 640K memory.
