enthusiasm and skill to their judging competition

How sweet it is: one of the best ways to tell good
hay is to smell it. A 4 -Her shows good form.
Surrounded: Les Falconer of R. R. 5, Clinton indicates the finer points
of beef cattle on an animal owned by Carl Bolton of Winthrop. (A fish-eye
lens exaggerates the length of the animal).
A boy's best friend: Bill Storey of R. R. 3,
Clinton keeps a lost art alive — judging a good
draught horse, in this case a Belgian belonging to
Tom Penhale of the Bayfield area.
Take no e: knowing the subtle differences in market hogs is a skill these
4 -Hers are acquiring. The Huron County 4-H judging day in Seaforth on
May 26 brought out 107 participants. Scott Johnston of R. R. 2, Bluevale
was the top judge, winning the United Co-operatives of Ontario trophy for
the highest score and the Cargill Fertilizer, Clinton Branch award for
being the high intermediate judge.
