Concerns expressed at the meeting included: • That some single point machine dealers need $50,000 worth of tools for each new product that comes out, and could lose dealerships because of this. • Some tile drain contractors are having a real "crunch" right now due to the high price of tile. Some are having to sell some of their large equipment to stay above board; this problem will eventually affect all agri-related businesses, feed mills, etc. It was agreed that we should be more pro- active on keeping tabs on both concerns. ° 2006 Ontario Young Farmers Forum Sunday, November 19 - Monday, November 20 Doubletree International Plaza Hotel, Toronto The OYFF gives participants the opportunity to: • network with other people in the agriculture industry • gain exposure to the work of OFA, JFAO and CYFF • learn about relevant issues affecting young people in agriculture like innovation, energy, management and change.
