Environmental Farm Plan.
You must prebook with Mary 393-
6232 to take the course and when
your book is "deemed appropriate"
by the Peer Review Committee you
receive the Project Proposal
Application.
If you're planning a project for
2006 it is important to start the
process by attending a course. The
brochure you have received outlines
the general categories of eligible
projects, the cost share available
and the funding caps in each
category. Once approved you have 15

The Perth County Federation of
Agriculture held two very well -
attended AII-Candidates meetings
during the election — one in Mitchell
and one in Listowel co-sponsored by
the Listowel Agriculture Society.
We would like to thank all those
who attended these meetings and put
forward their questions. Although we
do not advertise these as agricultural
debates, it was very apparent that
Agriculture was a prominent issue in
our riding as the majority of the
questions were related to agriculture
and rural issues.
On Tuesday, January 24 is when our
work begins or continues. We need to
visit and/or call our MP and lobby them

Registration application, the OFA
and the Perth County Federation of
Agriculture can continue to work on
your behalf.
Twenty-five dollars of the Farm
Business Registration fee that you
pay to OFA is available to fund the
work of the County Federation.
Please contact us with your
questions, issues of concern and your
suggestions for action. Our strength
is our membership and we encourage
your active involvement in the
Federation process.°
