As a fellow farmer, I know your concerns
and have worked hard to bring your voice
to Ottawa.
As only one of two MPs to attend BSE
hearings in Seattle, Washington, I was
pleased at the successful verdict, but there
is still work to do. We must continue to
push for the acceptance of breeding stock
and animals over 20 months of age into
the U.S. and other markets.
I will continue to work to see that all
sectors of agriculture are protected at the
current WTO discussions.
