Century Farms signs — the tradition continues
Started in 1967 as a Centennial
Project by the Junior Farmers
Association of Ontario, the Century
Farm sign project still continues
today as one of the many programs
offered by the Junior Farmer
organization.
In keeping with this tradition and
in getting ready for Perth County to
host the 2005 International Plowing
Match, the Perth County Junior
Farmers are offering a special deal on
signs from now until June 1, 2005.
The stainless steel signs cost $75 but
signs purchased in the next 10
months will only cost the purchaser
$50 with the Perth County Junior
Farmers paying the other $25.
To qualify for a Century Farm
Sign a farm must have been owned
by the same family for at least 100
years. The farm can be passed from
father to son, uncle to nephew,
grandfather to granddaughter, etc. to
qualify.
Farms that already have a Century
Farm sign but would like to get a
replacement sign are also welcome to
take advantage of the special deal
offered by the Perth County Junior
Farmers.
The special deal is only available
for farmers in Perth County.

Century Farm Sign project and/or to
