The delegates spent the day debating what kind of provincial organization they wanted to see in place, with the hottest topic, according to Linda Bisenthal's A Rural Legacy: The History of the Junior Farmers' Association of Ontario being whether there should be one organization to include both the Junior Farmers and the Junior Institutes or separate organizations. In the end they agreed to bring both organizations under one umbrella. The motion read that the organization would be dedicated to "creating a deeper and more Junior Farmers plan August alumni reunion in Orangeville The Junior Farmers Assoc- iation of Ontario 60th anniversary committee is preparing for the Alumni Reunion to give alt these former JFAO members the opportunity to get together on Saturday, August 14, at the Orangeville Fairgrounds. The reunion will allow lots of time to rekindle old friendships and reminisce about the drama, sports, debating. travel and other experiences from their days in Junior Farmers across Ontario. Other attractions at the event will be a silent auction, displays of Junior Farmer memorabilia, a barbecue and a dance to wrap up the day. BBQ/dance tickets are $25 each. purchased in advance. Tickets for the dance only are $ l0 each and may be purchased at the door. Organizers are urging anyone interested in BBQ tickets to act soon since the demand is strong.
