"There are so many changes right
now that we just don't seem to be
able to deal with, both scientific and
otherwise," he said. " We've pretty
much decimated our research and
science community in this country, at
least we've under -funded it for many
years and I think they're having a
difficult time coping with keeping up
with the changes that are taking
place."
Another thing that's going to start
to happen, Froehlich said, "is we are
going to have much more interested
consumers and customers that are
going to interogate us more and more
on what we're doing. ..They are
looking over our fences, they are
asking questions about what it is
we're doing."
The big issue of food safety and
food quality ties into that.
Froehlich has spoken with
customers around the world he's met
through his malting and grain
marketing backgrounds and has been
