Ever try phoning their help line?
Good luck.
The controversy surrounding the
Kyoto Agreement is another prime
example of absurdities in high places.
There was even talk of high
carbon dioxide levels boosting
agricultural crop yields. As it turns
out, those higher levels will actually
prove to be a drag on yields when
combined with the parallel increase
in atmospheric impurities, according
to a recent article in Science.
Putting it another way, you may
be able to grow roses by shoveling on
manure but it's a whole different
story when you pump too much crap
into the atmosphere.
As far as being able to reduce
emissions by a mere six per cent,
why not? How much need is there for
SUV's with large engines. And does
every farmer with a big V-8 or V-10
in their pickup truly need or use all
that power? Manhood isn't found
under the hood of your truck. You
need to unzip.
Finally, there's the fixation the
world's last remaining superpower
has with Saddam Hussein. It's a
given, in most people's books, that
Hussein is something of a
manipulative megalomaniac. After
all, he is a politician.
Saddam should give up his
weapons of mass destruction, if
they're ever discovered. Yet if
Saddam gives up his weapons,
shouldn't all the other world leaders?
Are weapons of mass destruction in
the hands of a madman more
dangerous than if they're possessed
by a moron?
The question begs to be
answered.0
