Producers of all types of livestock will find information at the humane livestock transport and handler safety theme of the new Transportation Expo. The new Expo — hosted by the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture and Food (OMAF), Luckhart Transport Ltd. and Canada's Outdoor Farm Show — includes presentations by Animal Handling Specialist Tim O'Byrne as well as an informative exhibit from the Ontario Humane Transport Working Group called "Trans- portation — The Fundamental Link." Farm Credit Canada (FCC) is the official sponsor of the Expo. "Animal - related incidents account for 30 per cent of injuries and deaths on Canadian farms," says Farm Credit Canada's Bill Dufraimont, VP, Lending Operations, Ontario.
