Family Farm Tribute concert planned for January 12 Saturday, January 12 is the date set for the concert which will be co- ordinated by Julien Paquin. To date the Jim Cuddy Band, Jason McCoy and a group called Wave, have been confirmed. Several other groups have been contacted and Julien expects a good response. The first Family Farm Tribute was at the Air Canada Centre in 1999, and was a huge success. The focus of these concerts is to bring the Canadian family farm to the forefront of all Canadians' minds. Canadians do care about the people producing the food in Canada, New Directors join board The Huron Federation of Agriculture is pleased to welcome three new directors to our board. Canada is the only G-8 country that doesn't have a national agriculture policy. With the awareness the Family Farm Tribute creates in urban Canada, the pressure is mounting to develop such a policy.
