"Working at a fundraising event is not only a fundraiser for your church, club or group, but also a social activity, a chance to meet and work alongside your friends and neighbours." HBaring only the rumours of the letter's contents, Fischer finally decided she wanted to know for sure what the expectations of the Health Unit were. Following the holding of her own church's long-standing dinner for 400 people, she contacted the Health Unit and had a copy of the letter faxed to her.
