variety of exhibits will be set up in
and around the Dairy Pavilion.
"Our Titan structure was designed
to meet the needs of Canadian dairy
farmers, and we see ourselves as a
major supplier to the industry in the
future," says Ben Hogervorst of

the Dairy Expo, and we look forward
to showcasing this design at the
Show.
Back by popular demand is the
Lely Astronaut robotic milking
demonstration. Last year, it was the
first on-site demo of a robotic milker
in North America, and farmers from
across Canada and the northern U.S.
were on -hand to witness this new
technology.
New this year will be the
nutrient management
demonstration, scheduled tor
12:30 p.m. daily. This demo will
feature environmentally friendly
manure management equipment,
including injection technology.
"We're very excited to report the
entire livestock area at the Show will
be expanded this year, including the
dairy section," says Jordon Underhill.

A new Swine Expo has been
added to the expanding livestock
line-up at Canada's Outdoor Farm
Show this year.
Approximately 12 per cent of
livestock producers that attended last
year's show were involved in the
swine industry, according to a survey
conducted at the time. In response, a
Swine Expo has been added to the
program for the first time, and will
feature a variety of exhibitors and
demonstrations. It will also be part of
the new, exclusive livestock area that
will highlight this year's Show.
Exhibits in the new commercial
swine pavilion — which will be
sponsored by Grand Valley Fortifiers
— will highlight genetic
improvement, feed, equipment and
swine animal health. An outdoor
display showing simulated carcass
composting for swine is also being
planned.
A nutrient management liquid
manure field demonstration (using
water) will take place each day at the
Show at 12:30 pm. This demo is also
