Cure Bottle Odors
Mustard seed is an effective
deodorizer when repeated wash-
ing of bottles has not removed
the odor of former contents.
Crush the seed slightly with a
rolling pin and pour a handful
into the bottle. Fill to the top
with warm water, cap and
shake well. Empty and rinse
with cold water. For musty
bottles repeat once or twice.

Our name for the day, Christ-
mas, dates back to the llth
century when it was called
Cristes Maesse-literally, Christ
Mass. The Germans call the
day Weihnachtsfest, meaning
Holy Night Feast; the French
call it Noel, which derives
from the Latin " Natalis" , mean-
ing birthday.
