Messengers Play
Korean Game
WRoxETER—Twenty' five
members attended the Decetn-
ber meeting of the Messengers
on Wednesday afternoon. All
enjoyed a Korean game called
"Neighbour" .
Murray Gibson, vice-presi-
dent, presided and gave the
call to worship. Mrs, Leslie
Douglas read and explained the
Christmas story taken from St.
Matthew's gospel, and Alex
Adams led in prayer. "Joy to
.the World" was sung with Rick
,ey Clarke as pianist, The roll
call was answered by naming
a Biblical character in the
Christmas story. Doreen} Riley
gave a reading, "par Away in
Bethlehem",
Musical numbers were given
by Gary Chambers, GJerrisGlb-,
on, Brenda and Debbie Town=

led Heather Alcorn, Doreen
Riley and Brenda Townsend,
when they sang three Christmas
carols.
The offering, including elite
boxes and birthday pennies, was

all. Mrs, Floyd Townsend told

NOTICE
Town of Wingham
At the request of the Council of the Corporation of the Town of Wingham
the Ontario Water Resources Commission has investigated the possibility of
installing a sewage works project in the said Town at an estimated cost of
$255,957. it is proposed to raise this sum by borrowing $128,000 from Central
Mortgage and Housing Corporation to be repaid over a period of thirty years
and the balance of $127,957 will be repaid to the Ontario Water Resources
Commission within the same period. The proposed project would consist of
the following works:

After allowing an estimated, write-off of $32,000 on the loan from Central
Mortgage and Housing Corporation, the estimated annual cost of the project is
$25,152 which includes interest, debt retirement, operating cost and reserve for
renewals replacements and contingencies.
it is proposed to raise the sum of $17,400 by a surcharge of 94% of each
user's water bill and $7,752 by a general levy of 3 mills on all the rateable
property in the Town.

On the basis of these levies a house with an assessment of $2,500 and an
annual water bill of $15.00 would pay the following amounts annually after
connection has been made to the project:

94% of each user's water bill of $15.00 14:10

Any owners or other persons affected by these charges may file their objec-
tions thereto in writing with the undersigned within 21 days of the date of first
publication of this notice.
All plans, reports and estimates may be inspected at the office of the under-
signed during business hours.
