Reid of R. R. 2 Campbellville
and Donald Lorne Mills, son of
Mr. and Mrs. Lorne Mills of
R. R. 2 Brampton. The bride

The church was graced with
white and blue -tinted mums
and Mrs. M. Hetherington of
Brampton played the wedding
music.
The bride was given in mar-
riage by her father. She wore
a floor -length gown of white
Turnberry Council Appoints Fortune
The regular monthly meet-
ing of Turnberry Township
Council was held in the com-
munity hall, Bluevale, Satur-
day, December 1, at 1:30 p.m.,
With all members present, ex-
cept l-lerb Foxton, the reeve,

east of the main road. Mr.
Elliott is not to damage the
pavement if at all possible,
baracades and lights to be kept
up while work is in progress.

sentative of Turnberry Town-
ship to the Wingham and Dis-

B&PW Form
New Committee
The B&PW Club held its
monthly dinner meeting in St.
Andrew's Presbyterian Church
parlour last Tuesday evening
with the president, Miss Yvonne
McPherson, presiding, Each
member had the privilege of
taking a guest and the friends
were welcomed by the president
and introduced during the roll
call.
After dinner the meeting op-
ened with a sing -song and Mrs.
Jack Day and Mrs. Betty Feagan
favoured with two duets. Mrs.
Daisy Connell introduced the
guest speaker, Rev. Gordon L.
Fish, who gave a very interest-
ing talk on Christmas. He was
thanked by Miss Dorothe Com-
ber.
Mrs. John Hanna, Mrs. C.
Cantelon and Miss Mildred Mc-
Clenaghan were in charge of
the program. An employment
conditions committee, consist-
ing of Mrs. Robert Ahara, Mrs.
Vera Hastie and Mrs. Harry
Bateman was appointed, and
reports of various committees
given.

and a lace scalloped neckline
dusted with sequins and pearls.
The gown was fashioned on
princess lines and fell into a
chapel train. A border of scal-
loped lace was at the hemline.
Her finger-tip nylon veil was
held by a rhinestone and pearl
crown and she carried a white
Bible crested with Sweetheart
roses and stephanotis.
Miss Edith Mills, sister of
the groom was matron of honor
and Miss Jeannie Mills, sister
of the groom and Miss Edna
Imber were the bridesmaids,
They wore peacock blue peau
de soie street -length gowns,
with round necklines and elbow -
length sleeves. The skirtswere
bell shaped with small peau de
soie bows and matching shoes.
They carried yellow carnations.
Bonnie Reid of Flesherton,
niece of the bride, was the
flower girl. She was attired in
a white slipper satin dress with
a sash of peacock blue peau de
soie and carried a basket of
white and blue -tinted carna-
tions. Her brother, Brian Reid,
was the ring bearer.
The best man was William
Cook, cousin of the groom and
Reginald Reid, brother of the
bride and Harvey Horner, cou-
sin of the groom were the
ushers.
A buffet luncheon and re-
ception was held in Snellgrove
Hall with a dance following,
when guests were present from
Listowel, Toronto, Brampton,
.Streetsville, Flesherton, Good-
wood, Erin, Georgetown, Dun-
dalk, Guelph and Spayside.
The bride's mother received,
wearing a hound's tooth willow
green sheath with matching
shoes and beige accessories.
The groom's mother assisted
and her ensemble was a fitted
satin brocade cerise dress with
beige and black accessories.
They each had a yellow rose
bud corsage.
For travelling to New York
and other points, the bride
chose a white embossed bro-
cade with fur trim, navy acces-
sories and a corsage of blue
tinted roses.
Mr, and Mrs. Mills willlive
in Brampton.

wedding was solemnized on
Saturday, at 10 in St. Augus-
tine R. C. Church, when Rev.
Malak officiated at the mar-
riage of Miss Ida Jean, eldest
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gor-
don Naylor of East Wawanosh,
and James Alexander, son of

The attendants were, Shir-
ley and Eugene McInnis. The
wedding dinner was served at
the Cowan's Log Cabin Restar-
aunt, Lucknow, for 26 guests.
The young couple will make
their home in Goderich.
