SOME FIVE ACRES of land below the
mill dam at Bluevale are being develop-
ed by residents of that community, with
the Bfuevale and District Recreation
Association, leading the way. Consider-
able work has been done at a number
of "bees" this fall but much remains
to be done, with committee members
asking all interested parties to aid the
program. Besides the park there will
be swimming in summer and an outdoor
rink in the winter.—Photo by King.
COMMUNITY SPIRITED CITIZENS at
Bluevale have been busy this fall de-
veloping a small park and recreation
area below the mill dam. President Ross
Mann, of the Bluevale and District Re-
creation Association, lower left, and
committee members, Lloyd Warwick,
Albert Kitchen and Mel Craig are shown
at work building a change house for
outdoor skating. A pressure system
will bring water from the nearby river.
