Church funeral parlor in Teeswater on Saturday, with in- terment in the Teeswater ceme- tery. Miss Annie Murray Was School Teacher Miss Annie Murray, in her 84th year, a former highly respected resident .of Gorrie, died In Listowel Memorial Hospital on Sunday, Oc- tober 7th, after a short illness. She had been residing at the home of Miss Margaret Willets, in Gorrie, for some time. • She was born in Howick Town- ship, four miles south of Gorrie. When her mother died she was raised by Mrs. Paul Doig, her mo- ther's cousin. She taught school for a number of years in Howlett and Bruce, retiring several years ago. Miss Murray was a member of Gorrie Presbyterian Church until the time of her death. She was pre- deceased by four sisters and one brother. She leaves to mourn her passing three nieces and two neph- ews, besides a host of friends. The funeral service was conduct- ed on Tuesday from the Moir funer- al home by Rev. J. Kocher St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, Hepworth, Saturday- morn- ing was the scene ut the marriage of Karen Anne Taman, daughter of Mrs. Clifford Taman, of Suable Beach, and the late L 5 Clifford Taman, and John Bernard Kocher, son of Mr, and Mrs. Michael Koch- er, Hepworth, The service was con- ducted by Rev, Father Pope, Mrs. Frank Moyer was at the organ and played the wedding music. R, Grace sang "The Mass of the Angels." Mrs. Clarence Hendry sang "Ave Maria," "Lord at Cana's Wedding Feast," "On This 1)ay, 0 Beautiful Mother" and "The Lord is My Shepherd." The church was decorated with potted pink chrysanthemums, fall flowers and ferns. White candles and wrought iron candelabra flank- ed the altar. Satin bows marked the pews for 110 guests, Given In marriage by her uncle, William Earl Ard, the bride wore a full length gown of off-white sills faille. The fitted bodice of alencon lace, featured long lily pointed sleeves. with applique of white al- encon lace: The same lace was used for accents on the front of the belle shaped skirt. An over skirt of off white faille fell on a sweeping cathedral train. Her double illusion finger' tipped veil was gathered to a small pill box of the dress ma- terial. Her dew drop pearl pendant was the gift of the groom. She wore pearlized white slippers and carried a picture bouquet of symphony carnations with miniature carna- tions, maiden hair fern with a light shower of narrow ribbons with miniature carnations caught in the loops. Maid of honor, Miss Eva Kocher, sister of the groom, wore a waltz gown of copper satin peau de soie with belle type skirt and fitted bodice, three quarter length sleev- es with matching pill box hat, veil, gloves and shoes and carried a crescent bouquet of yellow shastas, yellow pompons, showered with light ribbons, and tied with loops and streamers of yellow lace- lon. Mrs, Donald Kirkland, brides- maid, wore a waltz length gown of gold peau de soie styled after that of the matron of honour with matching accessories and carried a crescent bouquet of golden shas- tas and bronze pompons showered with light ribbons and tied in loops in golden lacelon. Mrs, Richcird Gates, bridesmaid, wore a similar gown of shrimp peau de soie and carried a crescent bouquet of creamy white shastas and white pompons showered with light ribbons and tied with white lacelon. Therese Kocher, cousin of the groan, was flower girl, She wore a soft green peat) de soie gown with rounded neck line and full buoyant shirt and head hand of matching material, and carried a miniature bouquet similar to the bridesmaids. Bernard Kocher was the ring bearer. The best man was Patricic Weiler, of Hepworth. Ushers were Robert Cameron, of Kitchener, and Richard Gates, of Hepworth. Receiving the guests, the bride's mother wore a flowered silk dress of..bt'Alze ,g_ocl...g01(1. with,..)n#tt01ing accessories and a corsage of gold sunshine roses. The groom's mother wore a sheath dress of gifted hiege with jacket and matching hat and brown accessories. Her corsage was of golden chalice roses. The reception was held at Sauhle Lodge where the bride's table was laid with a white linen cloth cen- tered by the wedding cake with silver candelabra. and white candles and pink carnations and bud vases and bridal bouquets. The guest tables were decorated with low vases and pompons, chrysanthe- mums and fall colors, For their wedding trip through Northern Ontario and Quebec the bride. wore a three piece suit of black wool with white hat and gloves, black shoes and purse and a corsage of happy day roses with baby mums, Guests were present from Wiar- ton, Sauhle Beach, IIepworth, Shallow Lake, Park Head, South- ampon, Allenford, Owen Sound, Fergus, Elora, Guelph, Brantford, Toronto, London, Blyth, Welland, Kitchener, all in Ontario; Lancas- ter, Penna., and Buffalo, N.Y. This was a double ring ceremony and the bride's wedding hand was her great grandmother's.
