week of the passing of Mr. Edward
Strome from a heart attack at
Parksville, B.C. He was the son
of Mrs. Melinda Strome and the
late Sol Strome, formerly of Ford-
wich. Mrs. Strome now resides with
her daughter, Mrs. Les Burrows in
London.

Telephone Company in Kitchener
and commenced her duties Monday

in the basement of Trinity Angli-
can Church, in honor of Mrs. Jen-
nie Mosure, their oldest member. It
was her 89th birthday.
The Fordwich Lodge will cele-
brate its 50th anniversary next
June. Mrs. Mosure is one of the
charter members. A lovely birthday
cake with candles graced the
centre of the table.
Mrs. Mosure thanked everyone
for their kindness and wished them
all a .hundred years of life.
