Brother Dies
In Toronto

of the death. early Monday morn-
ing of James Graham, Toronto,
at the age of 55. He was taken
suddenly ill on Friday while at,
work,
He was a son of the late Mr,
and Mrs, Robert Graham, Gorrie,
.He was born in Howick Township
and received his education here.
Mr, Graham has been employed
with the Bell Telephone Company
for many years and was a member
of St. Timothy's Anglican Church,
Toronto.
His wife survives with one dau-
ghter, Mrs, Glcn Betty) Kennedy,
and one son, Alex, both of Toronto,.
A sister, Mm. Harold Robinson, of
Gordy, also survives, Funeral ar-
rangements had not been complet-
ed at time of writing.
The sympathy the community
goes Lo Aim. Robinson in the loss
of her brother.

meeting of the Messengers was
held Sunday morning in the church
basement and opened with the
motto and Drayer, A hymn. was
sung and the roll call was answer-
ed with 32 present. Ivan Wheeler
read the treasurer's report.
It was decided to have the grad-
uation service at the -October meet-
ing. There will be a cookie sale
and a film, The offering was re-
ceived by Owen Fear and Neil
Bieman, Mary Ellen Walsh and
Audrey Coultes gave out World
Friends. The worship service was
conducted by Mrs. Roy McSween.
The group then divided for the
story hour, Mrs, Roy McSween
taking the seniors and Mrs. Jack
Higgins the juniors. Mrs, Stan
Hopper had the Baby Band.
