Church on September 12. Mr. Smith
died at the home of his son, Mor-
ris 13. 'Smith, in Sackville, N.1;.,
in his 93rd year.
IIe was born in Durham County,
the son of the late brilliant Smitl,
and Emily N'ar'row. IIe moved with
his parents to Bluevale at:11 spent
his school days le re. He entered
the Methodist ministry met preach

stork, Collingwood, Port Arthur
and Sault Ste. Merle. He preached

1931 to 1937, when he retired, and

M;lton Fraser was convener of the
historical research program. The

W.I. would prepare exhibits for
the Brussels Fair and the Hawick

from the handbook in regard to
home economics and health, and
citizenship and education.

and post -work. as written by Miss
Dorothy Lukes, a post receptionist
at Montreal. She told of the work
and responsibility and interesting
facts related by the employees of
the Intntigration Department under
the Board of Missions.
She also informed the Auxiliary

BELGRAVE—The death occurr-
ed on Tuesday, September 11 in
Wingham. General Hospital of
Mary Roberta Taylor In her 69th
year, after an illness of two
months.
Born on July 27, 1894, she was
the daughter of the late Mr. and
Mrs, Michael Robertson of East
Wa.wanosh, ,On December 22, 1915,
she married Orval E. Taylor, Who
predeceased her September 24,
1901. She was a member of Knox
United Church.
'Surviving are two sons, John R.
Taylor of East Wawanosh and
Lloyd Taylor of Sarnia and eight
grandchildren. Funeral services
were held from the R. A. Currie
et Sons funeral home on Friday.
Pallbearers were Joseph Dunbar,
Stanley Cook, Lewis Cook, Clar-
ettee Rath, James Lamont and
Ralph McCrea. The flower bearers
were Harry McGuire, Lewis Stone-
house, Marlt Armstrong and Al-
bert r1oultea. Burial Wtvds made In
