Bluevale Women's Institute held .a
community picnic at the home of
Mrs, Charles Mathers, The bus!-
ness session was in eharge of Mrs,
[George Hetherington, the president,
IMrs, W, J. Peacock, secretary -
treasurer, read the minutes and
gave .a satisfactory financial state-
ment.
Mrs. Milton Fraser gave a report
of the East Huron district •meet-
ing at Walton on May 17th, where
the 60th anniversary of East
Huron District was celebrated.
It was decided to donate $20.00
to the Golden Circle School for re-
tarded children in Wingham. The
president and secretary were ap-
pointed to make a purchase of cups
for the community hall.
Mrs, R, J, McMurray and Mrs,
Mel Craig conducted a series of
games on the lawn with contests
for tiny tots, teen agers and In-
stitute -members, Prizes were given
and birthday greetings sung.
Among the refreshments served
was some of the East Huron DIs-
trict's 60th anniversary cake.

on prayer and Mrs, Ferguson led
in the litany and closed the meet-
ing with prayer,

Rev. T. E. Kennedy preached to
Knox Presbyterian and United
Church congregations on Sunday in
the United Church and will also
preach to both next Sunday in the
same church.
