The Women's Institute meeting
was held on Tuesday evening with
Miss Edna Carr, assistant director
of nursing in Wingham General
Hospital, as speaker.
Jimmie Ross and John Willis are
at Walkerton and Jimmie 1viorrisdn
at Listowel, taking the five weeks'
course in militia training with the
21st Field Regiment.
Mrs, James Richardson took two
children to the Jewels for Jesus
Camp at Guelph on Saturday. Mr
John Richardson and Bob accom-
panied her and visited with his
brother, Mr. and Mrs, George Rich-
ardson' of Guelph,
Mrs. Elgin Welwood and Mrs.
Arthur Cronin spent the week -end
with Mrs. Cecil Falconer and Mrs.
Welwood accompanied her nephew,
Mr. Charles Falconer, to Glamis
to spend a few days there.
Mr. and Mrs, Walter James of
Woodstock spent the week -end
with her father, Mr. Arthur Moore.
Leonard James has been here for
two weeks. The Moore families
from Belmore, Woodstock, and
Preston were here to attend the
wedding of their niece, Phyllis
Moore, on Friday and the reception
at the Royal T in the evening.
Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Beecroft at-
tended the funeral of the late Mrs.
William Lyon at Londesboro on
Monday. Formerly Jennie Kirk,
her husband predeceased her 20
years ago. Her family, Dr. Kirk
of Leamington, Mrs. John Morose,
(Marjorie) and Mrs, Ruth Myers
of Hamilton, survive, with six
grandchildren and three great-
grandchildren. ' A son, Dr. Arth-
ur Lyon, passed away in Windsor
a year ago. Interment was at Lon-
desboro.
Mrs, Doig of Wroxeter is spend-
ing a few days this week with Mr.
and Mrs. Bradley Galbraith.
Mr. and Mrs. Alex Leaver and
Mr. and Mrs. Albert Coultes visit-
ed on Sunday with Mr. and Mrs,
Lawson Majury of Paisley,
Mrs. Ronald Jamieson a.nd baby

home from •Wingham Hospital last
Thursday.

Presbyterian Church will have

attended the decoration day mem-

Galt spent the week -end with their

fin and Alex Coffin, who has been
holidaying in Galt, returned home.

tenberg of Southampton spent the
week -end with her parents, Mr, and
Mrs, Albert Coultes. Diane Coul-
tes and Janis Farrier accompanied
them back to Southampton to holi-
day there this week,

spending this week at Kincardine,

who spent last week -end at Wind-
sor, returned home on Thursday.

panied them to vacation here,
