An enjoyable strawberry tea was held in the school room of the United Church on Thursday after- noon by Unit 3, United Church Warren. A hake sale was also held. Our citizens appreciate the fine tribute paid to Alex Corrigan re- ported recently in The Wingham Advance -Times, the Listowel Ban- ner, and the London Free Press, on the occasion of his retiring from i military service, One honour he re- ceived, not mentioned in the re- port, w•a8 the Military Medal, won by conspicuous bravery in the Second World War, Joey White pleasantly celebrated his seventh birthday with guests, classmates from Bluevale school.
