. Entering the church with her
father, the bridewas gowned in a
floor -length dross of white silk
organza, and nylon net over taffeta.
The fitted bodice featured a sa-
hrina neckline accented with alen-
con lace trimmed with seed pearls
and sequins. The bouffant skirt
was appliqued with lace and had a
V shaped back. Her fingertip veil
of French illusion was held by a
crown of mohair, sequins and seed
pearls and she carried a cascade of
red and white carnations.
Wearing identical dresses of aqua.
silk organza over taffeta. her at-
tendants were her cousin, Miss
Thelma Dobson, of 'Wingham, maid
of honor, her sister, Miss Thelma
Bannerman and the groom's sister,
Miss Helen MeFarlan, bridesmaids.
They carried bougnet s el' pink and
whirr carnations.
The grooni's brother, Leonard
MeFarlan, was hest roan, and the
ushers were 101 .her brother, Ivan
McFarian, and it hrcither of the:
bride:, joint Bannerman.

sheath, assisted by the groom's

The general meeting of the
United Church Women of %Ingham
was Held in the Sunday School
room Wednesday evening, with an
attendance of about fifty, represen-
ting the eight units of the local
irganizaction.
Mrs, Barry McArthur conducted
the worship service on the therric
"Lo I am with you alway, even
unto the end of the world." She
was assisted by Mrs. Gowdy, Mrs.
H, France and Mrs. F. Madill.
Miss Nancy Elliott, Miss Susan
McArthur and Miss Judy Renwick
sang "How Creat Thou Art," ac-
ccmpanied by Mrs. W, W. Currie.
The guest speaker was Mrs
(Rev.) Lloyd Stapleton, of Lis-
towel, who showed slides and de-
scribed the "Observer Tenor" she
and her husband took to Bermuda,
the Barbados and Trinidad. She
was introduced by firs. G. W. Tif-
fin and thanked by Mrs. D. Me -
Taggart.
Mrs, K. MacLennan presided for
the business period. The treasurer's
