The fitted bodice featured a sa- hrina neckline accented with alen- con lace trimmed with seed pearls and sequins. The bouffant skirt was appliqued with lace and had a V shaped back. Her fingertip veil of French illusion was held by a crown of mohair, sequins and seed pearls and she carried a cascade of red and white carnations. Wearing identical dresses of aqua. silk organza over taffeta. her at- tendants were her cousin, Miss Thelma Dobson, of 'Wingham, maid of honor, her sister, Miss Thelma Bannerman and the groom's sister, Miss Helen MeFarlan, bridesmaids. They carried bougnet s el' pink and whirr carnations. Large Attendance 'At General Meet Of All Eight Units The general meeting of the United Church Women of %Ingham was Held in the Sunday School room Wednesday evening, with an attendance of about fifty, represen- ting the eight units of the local irganizaction. Tif- fin and thanked by Mrs. D. Me - Taggart. Mrs, K. MacLennan presided for the business period.
