Coultes read the financial statement showing a bal- ance on hand of $22.70. Mrs, Scott thanked the ladies for their co-operation with the garden party and also for washing the basement walls, An invitation was received and accepted to meet with the Westfield United Church Wo- men on June 13 when Mrs. Bert Alton will he the- guest'.' speaker. Ten 'dollars was voted to the Mos- sengers. The caretakers of th.' church are to look after getting three screens for the windows in the new rooms of the Sunday School. The necessity of a table for the small children of the Sun- day School is to be looked into and the UCW will pay for it. Mr's. George Michie gave an ex- cellent report on supply work, toll- ing where the different articles were to go and asked for volunteers to help pack. Volunteering were Mrs. Lyle Hopper, Mrs. Lewis Stonehouse, Mrs, J. H. Anderson, and Mrs, James Michie. Mrs. J. H. Anderson gave a re- port of Westminster College, saying that Huron's share was $9,000, and that the women were furnishing it. Twenty-five dollar's of this group's share it to be sent for Westminster furnishings. Mrs, Ross Robinson reported for the manse committee, stating that it was in good condi- tion, It was agreed to refinish a table at the manse. Wendy and Rhonda Fear sang "Showers of Blessings", accompan- ied by Mrs. John Nixon. Mrs. Stan- ley Hopper conducted the worship service, opening with the call to worship followed• by a hymn. Mrs. R. H. Coultes read the Scripture Messengers. -Meet •• BELGRAVE-- The June meeting of the Mission Band: Messengers was hold on Sunday morning and •opened with- the motto and prayer, followed by a. hymn. The minutes of the last meeting were read by Lois Rinn and 36 Members answered the roll call. Ivan Wheeler read the treasurer's report. Mrs. Younghlut thanked Mrs. Gaunt for her fine message. A solo "More Love to Thee" by Margaret. Nicholson was accompanied by Anne Wightnian. Mrs, Alan Dun gar led in the Glad Tidings prayer. After the closing hymn and pray el.
