Mr. Williams gave an impressive
ta111, taking as his subject "Ye
shall be witnesses unto me," Acts
1:8. Saying that the purpose of the
eh•arch is to witness and show
concern for others, he emphasized
the need for Christian laymen to
fulfill this purpose, There are three
kinds of witnesses, - positive, pas-
sive and negative, but the positive
witness is the only one which
brings results. Even though this
may bring radical changes in our
way of living, Mr. Williams called
upon the laymen Lo go out and he
witnesses, not only in word but in
deed.
