brating the 26th anniversary of
their marriage, met at the home of
Mr; and Mrs, Calvin Robinson on
Saturday night, with members of
the Robinson families in this ,dis-

The evening was spent in pro,
gressive euchre, with Mr, George
Robinson and Miss Mary Taylor
holding high points, and Robert
Vallee, of Tillsonburg and Mrs.
Chas. Robinson, .holding low points.
The Robinson families presented
the bride and groom with xt blank-
et. All enjoyed the social time
together and spent the week -end
with all the relatives in the des•
trict.
Liam Gannett and Mary Messer, He
attended public and high tsehools
here and became a glove cutter.
Mr. Gannett was the a govern-
ment inspector of leather until his
retirement in 1957,
His wife, the former Leona Bell
of Toronto, survives with two sons,
Howard and Edward, both of that
city. A son, Gordon, predeceased
him. There are seven grande.hild-
ren.
Also surviving are four sisters
and two brothers, Mrs, Jessie How-
ell, Mrs. Edna McMurdo, Mrs.
Flora Jermyn and Harry Gannett
of Toronto, and Mrs, Mattie Smlth
