bers, Wingham, on Sunday.
Mrs, Irene Paterson, of Toronto,
spent the week -end. with her bro-
ther, Mr, Chas. Taylor, told with
her mother, Mrs. Wm. Taylor, a
patient in Wingham Hospital.
Mr. and Mrs. Thos, Morrison
were in Guelph on Sunday and
visited with a friend, Mrs. George
Roberts, whose husband. passed
away on Saturday after a long ill-
ness, and whose body was resting
at the Baptist Church, where Mr.
Roberts had been an Honorary
•deacon for many years. His bro-
ther, Mr. Ernest Roberts, took a
heart seizure that Saturday moan-
ing and passed away also.
Mr, and Mrs. Fred Moore and
baby, Blanc, of Wingham, visited
on Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Ivan
Laidlaw and her grandfather, Mr.
Herbert Laidlaw.

visiting here for the past month,
returned home, and all visited on

At Peel Festival

Mrs. Cannan. Farrier, of Long
Branch, attended the Peel. County
Music Feetival in Brampton last
week when •Colleen won the gold
medal in the 13 -year-old class in
sight reading at the piano.
They also came third with bronze:
medal in piano duet, and Brian
won the bronze medal for playing
a piano solo,
