Toronto -Dominion bonspiel in Sea -

Lionel Johnston rink, composed
of Burton Hubbard, Claus O'Kraf-
ka and Alex. Graham won second
prize, pork shoulders, in the 9
o'clock draw at the Gorrie bonspiel
held in Wingham on Wednesday.
Robert Hastie was in the first prize
rink at the 11 o'clock draw, with

LOBA No. 810 Valentine euchre on
Wednesday afternoon in the Orange
hall were first, Mrs, Russell Nickel,
second, Miss Latta Burns.
The Women's Institute held their
progressive euchre on Friday night
in the Gordo community hall. La-

Buried in Gorrie
GORRIE --- Funeral service was
oondljeted by the Rev. Fred Taylor
of the Gorrie United Church on
Thursday at 2 p,m. in the. Moir
funeral home, Gorrie, for Miss Edna,
Victoria Stinson, of Toronto, who
passed away in Toronto after a
lengthy illness.
Born in Howick 'township she
was the -elder daughter of the ietr
Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Stinson, She re-
sided in Gordo until 1927, when fol-
lowing the -death of her parents she
went to live in Toronto.
She was a member of the former
Gorrie Methodist Church and is
remembered for her musical talent.
One sister, Mrs. Preston Walker,
of Ingersoll, survives, also two
nieces and three nephews, A broth.

in February 1960.
Interment was in the family plot
in the Gorrie Cemetery.
