To Make Quilt
FORDWICH-- St. Anne's Guild
met at the home of Mrs. Frances
King on Thursday. The meeting
opened with a hymn followed by
the Lord's prayer. The Scripture
was read by Mrs, Ann Armstrong.
Roll call, "Your favorite winter
hobby", was answered by 15 mem-
bers with one guest present. A
chapter from the study book, "The
Valentine from Heaven', was road
by Miss Elva Foster.
The minutes of the last meeting
were read by the assistant secre-
tary, Miss Elva Foster.
The members decided to put up a
quilt in the basement of the church
in the near future, and asic some
of the members of the VV.A, to as-
sist with the quilting.
It was decided to hold 0 Daffodil
Tea with a sewing table and a bak-
ing table in May.
The president, Mrs. Jean Soth-
ern, asked the members to remem-
ber the World Day of Prayer on
March 9th at 3 p.m. at Trinity
Church, Fordwich. •
The next meeting will be hold on
March 8th at the home of Mrs.
Attweil. Mrs. Attwell closed the
meeting with prayer and lunch
was served by Mrs. Arnelta Sotlt-
ern and Miss Ethna Foster,
