Christmas Day a celebration of Jesus’birthday
Christmas is loving your friends
and family and giving cards and
gifts, and we have dinner with our
relatives. A man and a woman
might have to kiss under the
mistletoe.
Christmas is celebrating dinner
with our family and friends and we
celebrate Jesus’ birthday and go to
church and read the Christmas
story. We sing some Christmas
carols and sing some fun songs too.
Jennifer Lubbers
Grade 3, Walton.
Christmas is giving your pre
sents to the people you love.
Christmas is remembering when
Jesus was born in Bethlehem and
laid in a manger in a stable. His
mother was Mary and His father
was Joseph.
Sharing is letting other people
play with you and letting other
people play with your toys.
We sing nice carols that tell
about Jesus being born in Bethle
hem and fun songs about Santa
Claus and Rudolph. People sing
and are happy to get presents.
Music is bands playing. Laughter is
making you laugh and be happy.
Corinne Leonhardt
Grade 3, Walton.
Christmas is celebrating Jesus’
birthday, because Christmas is
Jesus’ birthday. We give and
receive presents. On the day after
Christmas we will go to Grandma’s
with mommy.
We will get presents there
because grandma hangs up stock
ings for Chrissy and me.
Michelle Kuntz
Grade 3, Walton.
Christmas is ...
Singing carols like “Away In A

Here are some Christmas fun
songs. “Rudolph The Red Nosed
Reindeer”, “Frosty the Snow

mas”.

Christmas is ....
Remembering.
Christmas Day is when we
celebrate the love of Jesus’ birth
day. His Mother’s name was Mary.
The Father’s name was Joseph.
The shepherd’s came first. They
saw the star first. The wisemen
came because they saw the star
second. They came and they
brought presents and bowed to the
Baby Jesus and then they left.
They did not go a certain way
because if they did the Baby would
get killed. They did not want King
Herod to kill Him.
Shannon Gibbons
Grade 3, Walton.
Christmas is being happy and
giving presents. Mom bakes cook
ies and cake. Mom, Katie and I put
up decorations. Mom, Dad, Katie
and I open our presents on Christ
mas morning after Santa Claus
came on Christmas Eve. We go to
Aunt Jenny and Uncle Walter’s
and get some presents from them.
Jamie Emmrich
Grade 3, Walton.
Christmas is giving.
We give gifts, presents, toys,
and cards to our friends and Mom
and Dad, and Grandmas and
Grandpas.
We write letters and send cards.
Sometimes we telephone our
friends or we visit our family and
friends.
Armand Dube
Grade 3, Walton.
Christmas is remembering the
last Christmas you had and all the
fun and gifts you got and gifts you
gave.
You remember the people you
saw shopping and all the good food
you ate at Christmas.
You remember the bright, bright
star that shone high in the sky that
shone over the stable where Jesus
was lying in the manger. Jesus
brought love to the world.
You wrote letters and cards to
your friends to tell them you
remember them.
Abby Dietz
Grade 3, Walton.
